As a foundation for our custom-made solutions, we offer a range of machines and components for precision assembly, as well as assembly services and job-shop manufacturing for optical systems. Our core competency lies in high-end assembly technology for the highest precision in optics. Based on this expertise, we offer a wide spectrum of products and services to design and implement competitive production solutions for our customers. AIXEMTEC was founded in 2016 as a spin-off from the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology (IPT). As the exclusive licensee of high-end Fraunhofer assembly technology, we have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of optical system assembly. Our customer-oriented business model allows us to find the most cost-effective production solution for each of our clients.
The company is now part of the Schunk Group and its OptoTech business unit since January 1st, 2024. The Schunk Group is an international technology group and leading supplier of products made of high-tech materials such as carbon, technical ceramics and sintered metals, as well as machines and systems – from environmental simulation, air-conditioning technology and ultrasonic welding to optical machines.
